New SMD male headers in 2.00 mm grid sandwich design

In the metrical 2.0 mm grid, Fischer Elektronik is as of now offering further SMD male headers in one-row and two-row versions, this time in a sandwich design for connecting stacked boards vertically. This markedly expands this segment in addition to the already existing 2.0 mm grid designs. The three different heights each with a clearance of 5.1 mm, 9.2 mm and 13.3 mm between the two insulators, respectively, are available in three different finishes: completely tin-plated, completely gold-plated and selectively gold-plated, where the mating area is gold-plated and the soldering area tin-plated.
The insulators are made from a highly temperature resistant plastic that is suitable for SMT soldering.
The one-row design is available with 4 to 20 contacts and the two-row design with 4 to 40 contacts. Other numbers of contacts upon request. These new designs are available as from now.
