The  legal basis for data processing in this case is Art. 6 Para.1 lit. a) EU-DSGVO. You have the right to  revoke your consent at any time. We will process your data according to its purpose. Specifically we will not share your data with third parties without your expressed consent.  We do not collect personal data of special categories in the sense of  Art. 9 Para.1 EU-DSGVO in connection with this website and the processing activities referred to above.  Your data will be stored in the framework of the legal retention periods in order to fulfil our contractual obligations and our legal obligations (Art. 17 EU-DSGVO). In the event that we have stored your information incompletely or incorrectly, you have the right to demand they be corrected immediately (Art. 16 EU-DSGVO).

Data protection risks

Fischer Elektronik GmbH & Co KG, as the data controller, has implemented extensive technical and organizational measures to ensure the most comprehensive protection possible for the data processed via this website. Nevertheless, data transmissions on the Internet can have security gaps and complete protection is not possible. Therefore, every data subject is free to transmit personal data to us by other means.

Legal basis for data processing

Article 6(1)(a) GDPR serves Fischer Elektronik GmbH & Co. KG as the legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, when processing operations are necessary for the supply of goods or to provide any other service or consideration, the processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The same applies to such processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of inquiries about our products or services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation which requires the processing of personal data, such as for the fulfilment of tax obligations, the processing is based on Article 6(1)c GDPR. In rare cases, the processing of personal data may be necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person. This would be the case, for example, if a visitor were injured in our company and his name, age, health insurance data or other information relevant to protection had to be passed on to a doctor, hospital or other third party. Then the processing would be based on Article 6(1)(d) GDPR. Ultimately, processing operations could be based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

This legal basis is used for processing operations which are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases if processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by our company or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data. We are permitted to carry out such processing operations in particular because they have been specifically mentioned by the legislator (Recital 47 Sentence 2 GDPR).

Cookies

“Cookies” are small files that are stored on users' computers. Different information can be stored within the cookies. A cookie is primarily used to store information about a user (or the device on which the cookie is stored) during or after their visit to an online service. Temporary cookies or "session cookies" or "transient cookies" are cookies that are deleted after a user leaves an online offer and closes their browser. For example, the content of a shopping cart in an online store or a login status can be stored in such a cookie. “Permanent" or "persistent" cookies are those that remain stored even after the browser is closed. For example, the login status can be saved when users visit again after several days. The interests of users can also be stored in such a cookie and used for reach measurement or marketing purposes. "Third-party cookies" are cookies that are offered by providers other than the controller who operates the online service (otherwise, if they are only the controller's cookies, they are referred to as "first-party cookies").

The following cookies are used on Fischer Elektronik GmbH & Co KG website:

  •

  • The operating system in use
  •

  • The URL over which the content was accessed
  •

  • The host name of the computer accessing the content

If you use these forms, your information will be transmitted, stored and processed for the purpose of processing your inquiry. We use the data collected in this context exclusively for these purposes. The data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

If you subscribe to our company's newsletter, the data in the respective input mask will be transmitted to the controller. Registration for our newsletter is done using what is known as a double opt-in procedure. That is, after registration, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can log in with email addresses that are not theirs. When registering for the newsletter, the user's IP address and the date and time of registration are stored. This serves to prevent misuse of the services or the data subject’s email address. The data will not be passed on to third parties. An exception exists if there is a legal obligation to disclose. The data will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter. The subject can cancel the subscription to the newsletter at any time. Likewise, consent to the storage of personal data can be withdrawn at any time. There is a corresponding link for this purpose in every newsletter. The legal basis for the processing of the data after registration for the newsletter by the user is Art 6(1)(a) GDPR if the user has given their consent. The legal basis for sending the newsletter as a result of the sale of goods or services is Section 7(3) UWG (Act against Unfair Competition).

We would like to point out that you use this LinkedIn page and its functions on your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of interactive functions (e.g. commenting or rating). Information about which data is processed by LinkedIn and for what purposes it is used can be found in LinkedIn's privacy policy: www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

When you visit our LinkedIn company page, LinkedIn collects, inter alia, your IP address and other information that is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the LinkedIn pages, with statistical information about the use of the LinkedIn page.

The data collected about you in this context will be processed by the LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Community and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/62533). What information LinkedIn receives and how it is used is described by LinkedIn in general terms in its privacy policy. There you will also find information on how to contact LinkedIn.

How LinkedIn uses the data from visits to LinkedIn pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the LinkedIn page are assigned to individual users, how long LinkedIn stores this data and whether data from a visit to the LinkedIn page is passed on to third parties is not conclusively and clearly stated by LinkedIn and is not known to us. As the provider of a LinkedIn company page, we do not collect or process any other data from your use of our service.

Instagram

Fischer Elektronik GmbH & Co KG uses the technical platform and services of Instagram Inc, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA for the information service offered.

We would like to point out that you use this Instagram page and its functions on your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of interactive functions (e.g. commenting or rating). When you visit our Instagram page, Instagram collects, inter alia, your IP address and other information that is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the Instagram pages, with statistical information about the use of the Instagram page.

The data collected about you in this context will be processed by Instagram Inc. and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. What information Instagram receives and how it is used is described in general terms in Instagram's privacy policy. There you will also find information on how to contact Instagram and the settings options for advertisements.

The privacy policy of Instagram Inc. is available at the following link: help.instagram.com/519522125107875

How Instagram uses the data from visits to Instagram pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Instagram page are assigned to individual users, how long Instagram stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Instagram page is passed on to third parties is not conclusively and clearly stated by Instagram and is not known to us.

When you access an Instagram page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Instagram. According to Instagram, this IP address is anonymized (for "German" IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Instagram also stores information about its users' end devices (for example, as part of the "login notification" function); Instagram may thus be able to assign IP addresses to individual users.

If you are currently logged in to Instagram as a user, a cookie with your Instagram ID is stored on your device. This enables Instagram to understand that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Instagram pages. Instagram buttons integrated into websites enable Instagram to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Instagram profile. On the basis of this data, content or advertising can be offered which is tailored to you.

If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Instagram or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. In doing so, Instagram information that can be used to directly identify you is deleted. This allows you to use our Instagram page without revealing your Instagram ID. When you access interactive functions on the site (like, comment, message and more), an Instagram login screen appears. After logging in, you will again be recognizable to Instagram as a specific user. You can find information on how to manage or delete information about you in the Instagram help section. As the provider of the information service, we do not collect or process any other data from your use of our service. You can find the current version of this privacy policy under "Data policy" on the respective Instagram page.

Only when you click on the video to play it will the following data be transmitted:

  •

  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  •

  •

  • Amount of data transferred in each case
  •

  •

  • Operating system and its interface
  •

  • Language and version of the browser software
  •

  • Hardware used (PC, smartphone etc.)
  •

  • Location (if Google Maps is activated)
  •

We have no influence on this data transmission.

By visiting our website and playing the videos, YouTube/Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. If you are logged in to Google, this data is assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. In addition, YouTube/Google also stores data if you do not have a Google user account: IP address, search queries, browser and operating system version.

YouTube/Google stores the aforementioned data as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in or do not have a corresponding account) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.
