Expansion of the casing series 19“ VES and VESA plug-in boxes

Despite the increasing integration density and continuous miniaturization of electronic components, 19" plug-in boxes are still widely used in industrial apparatus engineering and consumer electronics. Fischer Elektronik, manufacturer of heatsinks, connectors and electronic casings, offers an expanded range of 19" plug-in boxes for this in various designs and sizes. The versatile plug-in boxes of the VES and VESA series consist of two (for 1 height unit) and/or four (for 2 to 6 height units) extruded aluminium depth profiles with integrated guide grooves for inserting side, top or bottom panels, as well as front-mounted front panels and back walls with special support elements inside, which protect the top and bottom panel from deflection and lend the casing a unique stability. Perforation of the base panel can be avoided by using a MPW or MPH mounting and/or chassis plate, or a TSCE support rail. Diverse options such as screwless cover locking, front panel handles, and ventilation slots in side parts or covers expand the application area of the VES and VESA plug-in boxes. Both plug-in box designs are available with an ME surface (natural colour anodized) in six height units (1 to 6) and four different depths (260, 280, 300 and 360 mm). Besides the standard designs, the VES and VESA casings can also be manufactured with other lengths, surfaces, and additional mechanical finishes.
